Organic aloe leaf juice draws moisture to the surface and holds it there, so the primer hydrates while it smooths, and it goes on with that cool feel aloe has always been loved for. Silica is the blurring: fine particles that scatter light across the surface and take up excess oil, leaving a low-shine canvas for makeup to grip. Squalane and organic jojoba are the slip — squalane is a stable form of squalene, a lipid your skin already makes, and jojoba is close cousin to sebum, so both absorb without a film.
